We have an 8 year old?

McKinley celebrated her 8th birthday last month, and while she is so excited to be one year older, we keep realizing we must be getting old too to have such a big kid!  But we had a great day celebrating with balloons, cake, and lots and lots and lots of presents!  This was the year that we realized that the older kids get, the more you want the presents they get!  McKinley got some great stuff!

Here is a picture with McKinley's unopened stash of gifts.  She is one loved little girl!

She was VERY excited to get her own golf clubs from Nana and Papa Ken in a pink bag!

She was busy trying them out right away, and getting ready to go golfing with her Daddy!

Kennedy was just excited to play with the box!

Kennedy was also very excited to give McKinley the Belle nightgown she picked out for her.  These girls are so cute when they're getting along!

 

And what an impressive bit of  loot of opened presents.  She got lots of matching clothes for her and her American Girl doll (even matching backpacks), but her BIG gift was a new iPod Nano, that she loves and even got an iDog speaker set!  She now gets to listen to music while outside pulling weeds and while she's cleaning her room!

 

And here she is blowing out the 8 candles on her round PINK cake, which made her very happy!

We can't believe she's getting so big!
