We got to go to DC for a couple days with Nana Betty when she was here, and Papa Kirby even drove up from southern Maryland to stay with us at the hotel. We had so much fun! There is so much to see there that I think we could go once a month and never run out of places to go! Here are some of the MANY pictures we took:Our family in front of The Capitol

McKinley even lost a tooth right in front of the White House this time! She was VERY excited!

And this is what McKinley did the whole trip. She pretended to take pictures with Milt's old phone (which does not work). She was also prentending to TALK on the phone most of the trip. It's pretty sad when you have to tell your kids to talk to you rather than their pretend phone conversations!

And here we are with my dad (in the only picture we got of him...proof he came!) at the hotel. It was so fun to see him!
And the funniest part was that when we got home really late and drove up our driveway (after our 2 hour drive), Kennedy burst into tears screaming "Not THIS house! I don't want to go to THIS house!" It turns out that she thought we were going back to the hotel, which she apparently enjoyed more than we thought. It took us about 15 minutes to calm her down and get her into bed!

Did you tell Kennedy that when she is older she will also cry and say "not THIS house" when it comes to things like laundry and cleaning and kids haha She is just getting an early start.
O Dev! You are so beautiful! You look fantastic! You always do. It was so good to see your parents! They look great! The kids are perfect. Oh my good heavens, are they cute! Their Halloween costumes are adorable. I wish we were closer, and then I could borrow Mckinley! Love the cell phone. She is such a smarty pants. I want to live in the North East! It is so beautiful and it looks like you are having so much fun. We love and miss you guys and we are glad both b-days were good this year. I am glad to see you are feeling a little better. If you are not you are hiding it very well. Your pics look great Devon. You inspire me!
I miss you guys! Wow, I can't believe how long Kennedy's hair is! And Maddox's birthday is Monday! Wow! We miss you. Give the kids lots of hugs from us.
