Pumpkin Patch

We got to go to this great local Pumpkin Patch/Dairy/Farm a few weeks ago (right before it got cold!) and had such a fun time! Maddox was especially excited by all of the animals...he just ran from animal to animal squealing with laughter and trying to moo! We even treated the kids to pick a pumpking each -- of the small variety, because we were too cheap to buy the expensive big ones. But they were very happy with their pumpkins, though we're still trying to convince Maddox that whole pumpkins themselves are not edible, nor are they just big balls to be thrown or kicked. He just keeps trying to take bites out of them, then throw them at us! Maybe this year pumpkin pie will be a big hit for him, since he seems to be such a fan. Hmmm...

And here are some pictures of the kids with the animals. The hog they have is seriously huge, although McKinley was not fond of his scent.

And I just really loved that they felt the need to post this sign, in MULTIPLE places. Be forewarned, I guess!

It looks like you're in Utah. We did the same thing last week. I love fall! I bet it's beautiful there!

Ha! Love the caution sign. I should get one that says "caution--you really don't want to talk to me today" for you know...*those* days.

Why does everyone get perfect little pictures taken at pumpkin patches? Cole hates me...and won't ever pose. blast.

Looks like so much fun. That was our plan too until the rain began.

And I'm glad you posted the llama pic. I seem to be their target whenever I'm near one. Yuck!
